- Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a firm fixed price type Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) order with Raytheon Company under BOA number N00019-05-G-0008. The delivery order will provide for the production build Turkish Peace Onyx (PO) III F-16 AN/AWW-13 PODS under the under the subject BOA. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS). Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: Raytheon is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the AWW-13 Data Link PODS, therefore, the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, technical data, and equipment, facilities and experience to perform this effort within the required timeframe. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Raytheon at the following address: Raytheon Company, 2000 East El Segundo Boulevard, El Segundo, CA 90245-0902. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the supplies and services anticipated needed herein is 336414 ?Guided Missile and Space Vehicle Manufacturing?. Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving a contract award will be registration in the DODs Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
