- Description
- The Naval Air System Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Pax River intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, North Star Scientific (NSS) Corporation of Kapolei, HI, under the authority of FAR 6.302-5 Authorized or required by statute, para (b)(6) Sole Source awards under the HUBZone Act of 1997-15 U.S.C. 657a. NSS will provide unique High Power Amplifiers (UHF and L-Band), associated support equipment/accessories and any required non-recurring engineering. The anticipated date of award is no later than 28 February 2007. The performance period shall begin at the date of award and shall be completed no later than 28 February 2010. North Star Scientific Corporation is the only known HUBZone Small Business concern with the required expertise and manufacturing capability of the High Power Amplifiers. Note 22 applies. All responsible HUBZone Small Business concerns may submit a capability proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
