- REF PR 10192775. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, at Point Mugu, California, has a requirement to purchase Flexible Microwave Cable Assemblies. Specifications as follows: 20 each, 156" Flexible Microwave Cable Assemblies and 4 each, 228" Flexible Microwave Cable Assemblies. SPECIFICATIONS: Frequency Range (GHZ): D.C. to 18 GHZ; Phase Stability (24" assembly at 18 GHZ): +/- 2.0 degrees; Amplitude Stability (24" assembly at 18 GHZ): +/- 0.03 DB; Crush resistance (lb/linear inch): 250; Minimum bend radius: 1.0 inch; Temperature (0 degrees C): -55 to +85; Insertion Loss: 0.54 db/ft; Maximum VSWR: 1.35:1; Flex Life (Cycles): 100,000; Outer Diameter: 0.305 inches; Connectors: Strain Relief Boot / SMA REQUIREMENTS: Accurate Phase and Amplitude measurement during rapid flexure; Phase and Loss stability with flexure ( Flexible); Crush and Torque resistant (Ruggedized); Light Weight; High connector pull strength. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Price; 2. Technical Capability. Offeror is responsible for completing and including with bid the following FAR fill-in clause: 52.212-3 Alt I Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items.
