Description
Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport has a requirement for miscellaneous Hewlett-Packard items as shown on the attached Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement has been Sole Sourced to Hewlett-Packard in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Vendors/Contractors are encouraged to respond. This requirement is being issued as a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the actual RFQ. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-C9E. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) N00253-07-T-0042. This combined synopsis/solicitation incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Federal Circulars 2005-15. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334111 and has a size standard of 1,000. Our requiremen ts can be found on attached RFQ. Offers shall be FOB Destination to NUWC Keyport WA 98345-7610. Offerors are also advised that these representations and certifications must be completed electronically via the ORCA website at http://orca.bpn.gov. Drawings Referenced in this Solicitation are restricted by the Arms Export Control Act and are ONLY available to vendor?s/contractor?s appointed data custodian that are registered with DLIS (Defense Logistics Info Svc Joint Certification Program (JCP). Vendors/Contractors that are not registered with DLIS JCP can obtain registration information at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/ or by phone at 888 352-9333. Numbered Note 8 Applies. Restricted Drawings and Technical Information are only available at this link: https://www.fedteds.gov/fedteds/start.nsf/frm.vendorlogin?openform&SolicitationNumber=63071545 by accessing a secure website known as Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS). FedTeDS is designed to safeguard sensitive, but unclassi fied acquisition information and is fully integrated with other electr onic government initiatives such as NECO and the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. To obtain information from FedTeDS, vendor/contractor must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR), have a Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) and be FedTeDS registered. Registration instructions can be found on the FedTeDS website, (https://www.fedteds.gov) by clicking on the "Register with FedTeDS" hyperlink then select the option ?Begin Vendor/Contractor Registration Process? Quotes/Offers are due no later than 03 January 2007 11:00 AM PST. Contractors interested in submitting quotes must (1) complete the pricing providing unit prices and extended pricing, (2) complete all Representations and Certifications, DUNs Number information, and Buy American Act information found in the above clauses. Contractors shall ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database http://www.ccr.gov. Any questions should be submitted in writing via the fax number provided above or e-mailed to Helen.ely@navy.mil bidders list will not be maintained by this office. No paper copies of this RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time established may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection. The following Note(s) apply to this order. 22 applies. (Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within seven days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
