- Description
- Provide preventive maintenance and repair services for Amsco sterilizers (Models 3017 ETO, 2000, and 3000, Century Gravity and a 50 CFM disposer) at the  Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw, Michigan.     Contract period is from approximately October 16, 2006 through September 30, 2007 with four (4) one year renewal options. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency, and satisfactory past performance.     The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government.     Award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures outlined in FAR subpart 13, and a combination of FAR part 12, 13, and 15 award procedures.     The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about September 18, 2006 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.     Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments. Offers are due October 12, 2006 at 3:00 pm EST.     Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing.     They may be sent by email to: carole.soule@va.gov or by faxed to 989-791-2886.     No telephonic inquiries will be accepted.     Proposals must be submitted in writing to the issuing office, be in accordance with the proposal preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely.     No web based offers will be accepted. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 811219 with a size standard of $6.5 million.
