Description

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic will host an Industry Forum to publicize the Government's acquisition of the upcoming Marine Corps Bachelor Quarters Program and receive private sector feedback on the acquisition strategy for this program. Over the next five years the USMC will undertake a $1.5 billion program to construct Bachelor Quarters at Marine Corps bases across the country. The Industry Forum is scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Embassy Suites Hotel Dallas-Park Central Area, Dallas, Texas. Interested parties must register by January 12, 2007 with Mrs. Freda Reilly, NAVFAC Atlantic's point of contact. The agenda will include opening remarks and overview by CAPT James Worcester, Operations Officer, NAVFAC Atlantic, a general requirements discussion by the Headquarters Marine Corps, and a presentation and facilitation of potential acquisition strategies by Ms. Patricia Kellihan, Director of Acquisition, NAVFAC Atlantic. The objective of this Forum is to inform industry about the program, encourage industry participation and dialogue to discuss general technical requirements, and to gain industry's input prior to determining the best alternative acquisition strategy.
