- This is a competitive 100 percent Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Set-aside. Program Manager Training Systems (PMTRASYS) has a requirement to solicit for the Marine Corps Systems Command (MARSYSCOM) for Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services (COMS) with full supply support for Training Ranges/Devices at Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Center (MAGTFTC), Twentynine Palms, CA. and USMC Reserve Center, Riverton,UT. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330 - Engineering Services. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, test equipment and transportation necessary to maintain the training ranges, systems, and devices in a fully operational condition. The anticipated COMS contract will be a firm-fixed-price (FFP) service contract. Initial award will be for a period beginning July 2007. This effort is a follow-on to COMS contract M67854-02-C-8007. A Pre-Proposal Conference follo wed by a Site Visit is scheduled at MAGTFTC 29 Palms,CA (6 Mar 2006). Parties interested in attending the Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit must register with the Contracting Officer prior to 05 Feb 2007. Section L of the Draft RFP will contain Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit details. The RFP (M67854-07-R-8017) and any subsequent amendments/information will be provided via electronic means at the following web address: www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/trasys (Business Opportunities). It is anticipated that a draft RFP will be posted by 31 Jan 2007 and the Final RFP around 12 March 2007. This is not a request for proposals or a guarantee of forthcoming solicitation. It should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. government to issue a solicitation. Any information provided to the Government in response to this RFI will become USMC property and will not be returned. All proprietary or classified information will be treated appropriately. All potenti al offerors desiring to be placed on the contact list for this procure ment and/or attending Pre-Solictation Site Visit are requested to submit a written response within 30 days after publication of this notice.
