- Description
- The National Institutes of Health has a need for Consulting to provide Program Support and are seeking sources/Sources Sought synopsis. 1. The Contractor shall direct a doctoral level course in molecular genetics for National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR). 2. The Contractor shall handle all administrative aspects of the NINR Summer Genetics Program (SGI). 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for development, marketing plan and recruitment of applicants for the SGI. 4. The Contractor shall work closely with faculty regarding content and scheduling of lectures, lab and seminars. 5. The Contractor shall handle all student, classroom, lab and housing related problems. 6. The Contractor shall maintain database of research proposals submitted to Federal6agencies, proposals funded and peer-reviewed publications by SGI graduates. 7. The Contractor shall conduct course evaluation and annual program evaluation and write reports7 8. The Contractor shall maintain on-going communication with SGI graduates about latest research in genetics, resources available, and SGI program outcomes (research proposals submitted and peer-reviewed publications). 9. The Contractor shall furnish a monthly invoice with a summary and progress report of each project. 10. The Contractor shall provide approximately 500 hours of consultation services. During the term of the agreement, the Contractor will travel to NIH/NINR in April, June and October. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether sufficient businesses within any of the socio-economic programs possess the capability to fulfill the Government?s requirement and to ensure competition under a set-aside acquisition. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement as a set-aside based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government
