- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) posted Request for Information (RFI) Number 0147930 on October 26, 2006, to provide interested vendors with information regarding the upcoming NGI project and to obtain vendor feedback. The FBI is actively encouraging a full and open competition for this effort. Based on feedback in the RFI responses, the FBI will provide additional information and communication with the government throughout the acquisition process. In order to provide additional information to the vendor community regarding the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division and its information technology environment as well as the NGI Program, the FBI will hold an Industry Day Conference beginning at 8 a.m. on January 17-18, 2007, at the CJIS Division auditorium. Interested parties are invited to attend the Industry Day Conference. There will be a limit of five persons per company with no exceptions. To register for the conference, please complete the attached Access Office Visit Request Form and Non-Disclosure Agreement form and return both no later than 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, January 5, 2007. Registration forms and Non-Disclosure Agreements received after that date will not be accepted and those persons will not be admitted to the facility. The FBI reserves the right of refusal for any/all attendees regardless of nationality. Non-Disclosure Agreements will be required from everyone, including those individuals who completed an agreement during the RFI phase. When completing the Access Office Visit Request Form, please include your FULL NAME. Do not use middle initials. Also include Jr., Sr., III, etc. Provide your Date of Birth, Place of Birth, and Social Security Number. If you are a naturalized citizen, include your Alien Registration Number. If you were born in a foreign country, you must provide proof of citizenship. Please note that the Department of Justice (DOJ)/ FBI does not permit the use of non-U.S. citizens in the performance of any contract or commitment for any position that involves access to or development of any DOJ Information Technology System. Thus, no non-U.S. citizens may register for attendance to the conference. Also, provide the Issuing State of your Driver?s License, the Driver?s License Number, the identity of your company, and the dates of visit. In order to access the site on conference days, vendors must show a valid government-issued photo identification at the Visitor?s Center prior to being allowed on-site.
