Description
In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration's Acquisition Management System (AMS), industry is hereby informed that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement over $100,000.00. The FAA has a requirement for technical and programmatic support for the National Airspace System Defense Program (NDP). The services under this requirement would augment NDP staff to ensure programmatic and technical compliance and accountability during the implementation of NDP programs and projects. This is a follow-on to contract DTFA02-02-A-04047, Order 0002. Proposed period of performance: Base Period: 1 April 2007 - 31 March 2008 Option I: 1 April 2008 - 31 March 2009 Option II: 1 April 2009 - 31 March 2010 Option III: 1 April 2010 - 31 March 2011 Option IV: 1 April 2011 - 31 March 2012 The duty location is at the FAA NDP Office located in Washington, DC. The contractor may be required to travel to various locations to provide support. The FAA intends to compete this follow-on contract. This competition is a Total Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541611 Business Management Consulting Services with a size standard of $6.5 million. The contract type is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The Government intends to award a single contract for this procurement. This procurement will be set-aside in accordance with AMS Clause 3.6.1-1 Notice of Total Small Business Set Aside. It is anticipated that a Screening Information Request (SIR) Request for Offer (RFO) will be posted for this requirement within 30 days from the date of posting this announcement. Any vendors interested in this requirement are requested to respond to the SIR/RFO when it is posted. Vendors are specifically requested not to respond to this public announcement.
