Description

The US Army War College, Strategic Studies Institute (SSI) is soliciting proposals from scholars to research and write monographs on the following topics: Global War on Terrorism; Homeland Security; Regional Security Issues-North Africa, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, Southwest Asia, Central Asia, Latin America; Military Change/Transformation; U.S. National Security Strategy/National Military Strategy; Landpower Employment, esp. defeating insurgencies; Landpower Generation and Sustainment; Force Management and Leadership; and War and Society. Scholars must not be affiliated with the U.S. Military or Government. Multiple awards are anticipated based on a best value basis. Offerors must have current registration in CCR (Central Co ntractor Registration) in order to be eligible for contract award. The solicitation will contain the actual date for receipt of proposals. To obtain a copy of the solicitation, request via email only to Eric.berns@carlisle.army.mil. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released on or around 15 January, 2007. The NAICS code for this procurement is 611710, the size standard is $6.5M. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. See Numbered Note 1.
