Description

Update Fire Alarm Building 299, Phase 1, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL The work includes, but is not limited to: Remove existing Simplex 2001 panel. Remove existing King Fisher Fire Alarm panels. Install new Simplex 4100U fire alarm panel and connect to existing fiber optic drop. Connect existing pull stations, smoke detect ors, tamper valves, sprinkler pressure, and flow monitors. Remove abandoned wiring and conduits back to nearest panel, box, or device. Connect Building 225 Fire Station monitor to existing fiber optic drop and program for Building 299 alarm system The r ough order of magnitude for this proposed procurement is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, NAICS code 238210/13.0M. The solicitation, plans and sp ecifications will be available on or about January 12, 2007. The solicitation and specification will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. The solicitation and specification will also be available for download by accessing the following address via the World Wide Web: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/IM/solicitation_index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Plans will be issued o n compact disc via mail. To obtain a compact disc containing plans, contact the point of contact listed below via email. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendme nts that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.
