Description
Crew Served Weapons Synopsis The Naval Air Command - Orlando Training Systems Division (NAVAIR Orlando) at Orlando, FL, has established a requirement for training services in Chesapeake, VA, San Diego, CA and Camp Lejuene (Location) Fleet Concentration Areas (FCAs) for Anti-terrorist/Force Protection (AT/FP) training. The overall objective of the AT/FP Training Program is to provide a contracted source and personnel to conduct AT/FP and related Navy force protection training for Navy personnel at the designated FCAs. The contracted source will provide instructor training and equipment support services with fully qualified and certified personnel who are capable of providing the required instruction for Navy training courses under the coordination of the Center for Anti-Terrorism Naval Security Forces (CENATNSF) and FCA Training Support Departments (TSDs). The services to be acquired will produce proficiently trained student that meet the performance and course completion standards within the courses identified and as determined by the respective CENATNSF and FCA TSDs. The following courses require instructor-only support: Crew Served Weapons Operation and Maintenance (CSW OPS and Maint). The following courses are instructor and equipment support: Crew Served Weapons Instructor (CSWI) and Small Boat Crew Served Weapons Operations/Maintenance (SB CSW OPS/MAINT). The offeror shall be required to work closely with the designated representatives of the FCA for which training is being provided during the performance of instructional/training duties. The training provided by the offeror will encompass the course scope and learning objectives identified in the Request for Proposal (RFP) attachments. NAVAIR Orlando seeks to award this contract on a Small Business set-aside basis. The basic award will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) type awarded on a tradeoff process basis. Specific details will be provided in the formal RFP N61339-07-R-0016, which will be posted on the World Wide Web at ?http://www.ntsc.navy.mil/ebusiness/BusOps/Index.cfm?
