Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ? Inshore Boat Unit (IBU), Weldon Springs, Missouri. This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP); it is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of sources prior to issuing the Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Navy, implied or otherwise to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. An award will not be made on offers received in response to this notice. If issued, the solicitation will utilize source selection procedures, which require offerors to submit technical, experience, past performance and price for evaluation by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice. In addition, this notice has the intent to identify potential 8(a), HUBZone offerors, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, or general small business contractors nationwide capable of providing: 1. Inshore Boat Unit (IBU) 14 requires: 11902sf of Administrative space, include secure space (per requirements), CO/XO/SEA, Full Time Staff (FTS), included is a 2 story warehouse about 3300sf. 5633sf Boat shed to include boat storage, maintenance bay for vehicles, boats. 2. Exterior spaces (4026sy) include: Armory pad POV parking Tactical vehicle parking Exterior Wash Rack ? Exterior of buildings will be prairie design with Pre-fabricated metal structure and Standing Seam Roof, preferred, building will consist of: ? Low pitch roof, with overhanging eaves and extended roof (3?-0?) ? Open floor plan (could be L shape), ? Multiple windows & clerestory windows (flood interior with light) ? Belt course that divides stories ? Roof over personnel spaces lowest to the ground ? Can have brick masonry construction, modular or Roman with weathered joints. ? AT/FP, IBU-14 is an inhabited building and must be designated as such per UFC-4-010-01 ? Buildings shall follow LEED?s sustainable building design based on LEED-NC version 2.1, section 01331 ?Design Submittal Procedures? ? Utilities will have to be brought to the area, electrical, phone, cable, fiber optic. ? Will have to work with NMCI for computer runs, to include secure communications ? Septic system will be required. ? There will be a water project run concurrently that will supply water to the facility. ? Recommend site will require demolition of some buildings and move of fuel tanks.
