Description

USCG, MLCP (vpl-1) in Oakland, CA, proposes to contract for dockside repair, MTU Main Engine Maintenance W5, of USCGC BARRACUDA (WPB 87301) and USCGC BLACKFIN (WPB 87317). Both vessels are 87? Patrol Boats. CGC BARRACUDA home moorage is in Eureka, CA, with work to be accomplished during the period of 08 Jan 2007 through 29 Jan 2007, 21 days of availability. CGC BLACKFIN home moorage is in Santa Barbara, CA, with work to be accomplished 05 Mar 2007 through 30 Mar 2007, 25 days of availability. Work to consist of, but not limited to, MTU W5 maintenance on both cutters? main diesel engines. On or about 23 Oct 2006, an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizops.gov. The solicitation, specifications, and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. In order to open and download the specifications, offerors must be registered at www.FedTeds.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to accesc the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration. Drawings may be requested through FedTeds.
