- LRP-0906134 SOLICIATION TO EXTEND EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST AND DELINEATED AREA REVISION: Extension; The United States Government acting through The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is extending expressions of interest to January 4, 2007 on solicitation LRP-0906134. Expressions of interest must be in writing to the address cited below by 3 P.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Delineated Area Revision: The NIH posted a Request for Sources Sought in FedBizOps on November 27, 2006. The delineated area included a statement where, the NIH reserves the right to further define these clusters without further notification. The NIH reviewed the program requirements and determined that it is in the Governments best interest to defined the delineated area to the Rock Spring office cluster. Interested parties that have already notified the NIH for LRP-0906134 and received a Solicitation For Offer (SFO) package and are within the Rock Spring location need not take further action to notify the NIH. Interested parties that had notified the NIH but are outside of the delineated area are encouraged to resubmit properties that meet the minimum requirements. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: AMOUNT AND TYPE OF SPACE REQUIRED: The United States Governments, acting through the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is seeking to lease class A office and related space. The facility must be ready to accommodate Government occupancy no later than November 2007. The facility must provide approximately 25,961 BOMA Rentable Square Feet yielding no less than 22,575 Net Usable Square Feet with 105 unreserved parking spaces. The Solicitation For Offer (SFO) for office and related space is for the relocation and force move from the NIH Bethesda Campus to off site space. LOCATION: Must be located within the following delineated area of Bethesda, Maryland area commonly referred to as the Rock Spring cluster. Rock Spring cluster is more broadly defined as North of Democracy Blvd, East of Spur 270, South of 270 and West of Old Georgetown. The NIH reserves the right to further define these clusters without further notification. TERM: The lease term is ten (10) years with termination rights after the 5th year anniversary date with 180 days advance written notice. LETTER OF INTEREST: Expressions of interest must be received in writing at the address cited below by 3 P.M. EST on January 4, 2007. At a minimum, the following information must be submitted: 1. A complete description of the site, address, site plan, floor plan or other descriptive documents; 2. Map showing that the property is within the delineated area. 3. Age and class of the facility; 4. Evidence of ownership, control, and/or agency status establishing your right to submit the information; 5. Parking information; 6. If the building is to be sold, provide detailed information on the status; and 7. Additional information or comments.
