- NAICS 236200 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis. Responses must be received by the General Services Administration (GSA), Acquisition Services Division (7PMA), 819 Taylor Street, Room 12A, Fort Worth, TX 76102, lisa.byrd@gsa.gov, 817/978-2577 (fax), no later than 3:30p.m. CST, January 12, 2007. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THE RESPONSES TO THIS SYNOPSIS. Only HUBZone, 8(a), small disadvantaged, woman-owned, veteran-owned or disabled veteran-owned businesses shall respond. The small business size for NAICS 236220 is $31M average annual gross revenue. An upcoming procurement for a standalone contract for the Renovation and Alteration (R&A) construction project in the existing U.S. Federal Courthouse in Little Rock, AR is being contemplated. The purpose of the contract is to provide the following construction services: Demolish and renovate approximately 22,000 sf of the 3rd floor of the building for a new U.S. Marshals Detention Facility, Administration Space and Fitness Area, complete with all new mechanical, electrical, fire protection and security systems and structural surface reinforcement for new cellblock walls; Fit-out of a recently constructed Prisoner Holding Cell tower (five floors) connected to the east wing of the Courthouse; installation of a new Prisoner Movement Elevator; Fit-out of a recently constructed Prisoner Transfer Corridor in the basement; Cut-throughs from the east exterior of the existing courthouse into the recently completed Courthouse Annex; some limited Asbestos Abatement, involving pipe insulation. The estimated cost range for the project is $5,000,000 - $6,000,000. The project will be procured using informal source selection procedures, which will result in a firm, fixed-price award to the Offeror who provides the best value to the Government, with both technical ability and price evaluated. Offerors will not be reimbursed for expenses related to responding to this sources sought synopsis. Firms, when responding to this synopsis, should address their experience with performing work similar to the tasks described above. Anticipated Notice to Proceed (NTP) date is mid-March 2007. The anticipated performance period is 300 calendar days from the NTP date.
