- Description
- The U.S. Forest Service, Region 10 intends to issue a combined synopsis/solicitation on or about Friday, December 29, 2007 for the overhaul of a Pratt and Whitney aircraft engine. The combined synopsis/solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set aside. The aircraft engine to be overhauled is a basic engine. Overhaul shall be performed in accordance with current FAA regulations, manufacturer's overhaul manuals, service bulletins, service letters, AD's, and recommendations governing the overhaul of aircraft engines of the type specified in the combined snyopsis/solicitation. Award is anticipated late January/early February 2007 with work to be completed within 60 days of receipt of the engine at the contractor's facility. All work shall be performed at an FAA approved station.
