- The 88th Contracting Squadron, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH intends to award a Labor Hour contract to provide Medical Coding/Validation Support Services for the Wright-Patt Medical Center, bldg 830. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written request for proposals will not be issued. Solicitation FA8601-07-R-0002 is issued as a request for proposals (RFP). This solicitation document and incorporated clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13. This acquisition will be one hundred percent set aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 518210, with a small business standard of $23,000,000. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This RFP has 5 Line Items, see attached schedule. All work is to be performed in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. This is a one year requirement with a period of performance of 1 December 2006 through 30 November 2007. **THE CONTRACTOR WHO RECEIVES THE AWARD SHALL BE ALLOWED A MAXIMUM OF 30 DAYS FOR RAMP UP. A START DATE SOONER THAN 30 DAYS AFTER AWARD IS DESIRED IF QUALIFIED CANDIDATES CAN BE IN PLACE.** Four one year options may be awarded. All work will be performed at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433. This labor hour contract will have fixed labor rates and estimated hours. The contractor shall bill for actual hours worked each month with net 30 days payment terms. Government Contract Financing will not be provided for this acquisition. Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement for registration prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. The Government will make an award from this request for proposal to the responsible offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all. Upon award, all contractor and subcontractor personnel must adhere to security procedures and guidelines outlined in Appendices 3 and 4 of the PWS. Information furnished by the offeror or identified in the proposal must be reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the proposal.
