Description

DESCRIPTION: The National Institutes of Standards and Technology (NIST), has a requirement for Electronic Supplies, such as cable ties, fuse holders, cable mounts, chassis?, connectors, relays, resistors, and switches. Delivery shall be completed not later than 45 days from the date of the award. Delivery terms shall be FOB Destination, Partial deliveries of complete line item quantities are acceptable, However, partial shipments shall not include less than 75 percent of the total order. Full and open competition shall be utilized. The NAICS code for this requirement is 423690 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), specifications, RFQ amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the internet at www.fedbizopps.gov under RFQ number SB1341-07-RQ-0038. The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about January 10, 2007, and will only be available via the internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests shall not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained.
