- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR WHEELCHAIR, STRETCHER, AND AMBULATORY PATIENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICE, for the Orlando VA Medical Center, Orlando Florida. This acquisition will be conducted as a set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms only. This is a presolicitation notice for services to be procured per the procedures at FAR 12, 13, and 15. Request for Proposals (RFP) Solicitation Number 673-34-07. Solicitation issue date on/about 1 February 2007, proposal due date approximately 30 days thereafter. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 485991, size standard $6.5M. Contractor to provide all personnel, materials, supplies, vehicles, equipment and supervision to provide transportation service for VA beneficiaries; wheelchair, stretcher, and other ambulatory patients. Period of performance: 1 October 2007 through 30 September 2008, with two 1-year option periods. Contractor must possess all necessary licenses to perform this service in Orange County Florida.
