- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This is a commercial solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13, solicitation no. FA4690-07-Q-0002 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) on 28 December 2006. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. FAR clause descriptions are available via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The set-aside for this solicitation is 100% small business. NAICS code: 334119. Size Standard: 1000 employees. This solicitation is for the following: Vehicle diagnostic tester/equipment with software installed and operationally checked, prior to shipment, on desired year group vehicles (specific requirements are itemized below) to troubleshoot and diagnose problems on Oshkosh H-series multi-purpose vehicles, 1991-2007 year groups. 1. TEST UNIT, CASE, TRANSLATOR AND CABLES 2. ALLISON WORLD TECH TRANSMISSION TROUBLESHOOTING SOFTWARE, BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE FROM GENERATION 4 TRANSMISSIONS. 3. DETROIT DIESEL DIAGNOSTIC SOFTWARE. 4. CATAPILLAR ET SOFTWARE. 5. WABCO TOOL BOX SOFTWARE If a warranty is applicable please state duration and dollar amount. If on-site training is available please provide required hours needed to train personnel, reflect class size you are able to accommodate and cost for such training (all travel, time spent training, and per diem are at your cost). If software updates are available please provide specifics. . The estimated date of delivery will be 15 February 2007 with FOB: Destination for delivery to 28 LRS/LGRVN, Bldg 102, Ellsworth AFB, SD 57706. The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government.
