Description

The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the Office of the Army Chief of Chaplains intends to award a sole source contract to, Mr. John Angotti of 3666 Wythe Road, Memphis, Tn 38135-2239. Mr.Angotti will provide for the development of all liturgies, music and alter arrangements, coordination with the celebrants, and development of ownership materials and liturgical settings for each event. Mr. John Angotti is a member of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians and a master at preparation of customized, quality Catholic worship experiences. He presents at national and regional conventions, seminars and workshops as liturgist and musician and has demonstrated the ability to write and perform music specially prepared for Spiritua l Renewal of Priests Training (SRPT). He is familiar with the needs of the particular needs of military chaplains and capable of customizing liturgy to meet the training intent. The three Spiritual Priest training events will be held at the following site s in support of the Armys Chief of Chaplains Office, Directorate of Ministry Initiatives: 08-12 January 2007 (Florida); 05-09 February 2007 (Hawaii); and 16-20 April 2007 (Germany). The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government i ntends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received by 03 Jan 2007, 3:00 PM. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
