- Department of Defense intends to contract the integration, engineering and logistics support for Full Rate Production of the Joint Service Light Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Reconnaissance System (JSLNBCRS) Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) and High M obility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) variants. The base quantity will be 13 HMMWV variants, with options for 17 additional HMMWV variants and 20 LAV variants.
