- The following is a list of questions and answers for the PA117 Containers: Question 1: Pricing Data and Part I ??? Price, the instructions do not ask for anything except for filling in Section B, yet in the General Instructions, ???one hard copy??? has to include the cost volume. Would this just be a copy of Section B from the solicitation? Answer 1: Per Section M, we only ask to see the unit price per year, so yes copy of Section B. Question 2: L.1.2.2 Part II: Technical and L.1.2.4.2 Part II Technical both show a page limit of 30 pages. Do we actually have 60 pages in the technical section or do we have a total of only 30 pages? With two different ???L.1??? ??? numbers it looks as if there are 2 sections with 30 pages each. Answer 2: Both L.1.2.2 Part II: Technical and L.1.2.4.2 Part II ??? Technical refer to the same requirement. The total is 30 pages. Question 3: Have these metal containers been subcontracted to Industry before: Answer: Yes. Question 4: What quantities should be quoted? Answer 4: Quantities are shown on Section B for each Item Number. Question 5: Does the Government intend to award this contract on a sole-source or multiple-source basis? Answer 5: Only one contract award will be made. Question 6: Does the Government own the design of these metal containers? Answer 6: Yes. Question 7: Will the Government consider an 8A set-aside on this program? Answer 7: No. Question 8: Have funds been made available for this acqusition yet? Answer 8: Short-of-Award authority. Question 9: Is the Government willing to offer an extension to the submission date of 4 January 2007. Answer 9: Closing date has been extended from 4 January 2007 to 16 January 2007. Amendment 0001 was posted to ProcNet and Fed Biz Opps extending the closing date on 22 December 2007.
