- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO Motorola, Inc. to provide the following items: software, hardware, spare hardware, and operational requirements needed to implement the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Phase II system, to include service and support, UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 13.501(a)(1). Motorola, Inc., 7031 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, MD. The dollar value of the award is expected to be under $900,000.00. The resulting award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The detailed specifications for the implementation of CAD Phase II are as follows: (1) Operational Requirements-CAD to MDT operation that provides at a minimum Global Positions Satellite (GPS) enabled Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), Advanced tactical Mapping (ATM), and limited local text messaging capabilities originating/terminating from/to a primary central dispatch center and/or secondary dispatch center. CAD interface/integration to an existing MCB Camp Pendleton, CA plant/CML Vesta Enhanced 9-1-1 system to include E-911 to CAD automatic Any Number Indication/Any Location Indication (ANI/ALI) graphical display and information repository capabilities. CAD interface/integration to an existing Automated Regional Justice Information System (ARJIS)/California Law Enforcement Terminal System (CLETS) terminal. (2) Software?All service provider required CAD and MDT software required to enable full CAD Phase II functionality to include software subscription support and licensing. (3) Hardware?Nine CAD workstations to be installed at the primary and secondary dispatch centers; Six installed at the primary dispatch center, three installed at the secondary dispatch center. One CAD server to be installed at the primary dispatch center. Required CAD server/client network timing, GPS antenna, power distribution, cabling, and any other service provider required hardware to enable full CAD Phase II functionality. Upgrade of seventy-one existing Camp Pendleton owned XTL-5000s to become ?CAD/MDT capable. (4) Installation?Installation of eighty-six Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) and compatible vehicular mounting hardware for all MCB Camp Pendleton, CA designated MDT installation vehicle types. Installation of 86 mobile radios (XTL-5000s) in all MCB Camp Pendleton, CA de signated vehicle types. Associated service provider required engineer ing, integration, and optimization services. (5) Spares?Operational spare hardware to be used as replacements during emergency failure/fault isolation to include hard-drives, NICs, and other critical items of equipment. (6) Service and support?Three years of software subscription and hardware maintenance/warranty service support for all CAD/MDT software and hardware. The period of performance is for 12 months after receipt of order. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists. No contract award will be made on the basis of any Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations received in response to this notice.
