- This RFI (Request For Information) is for a software tool to assist the USPS in Employee Annual Review. Requirements as specified: 1) The software must be web based. The vendor must provide all maintenance and upgrades. The software cannot reside on USPS local computer network or individual PCs. 2) The software must allow for users in multiple locations (ie; St Louis MO, Eagan MN, San Mateo CA and Washington DC) 3) The software must allow for multiple reporting relationships (ie; Location, Branch, Unit, Manager, Supervisor, Employee) 4) The software must provide reports to show activities within the various locations, within the various reporting relationships and within various time periods (month, year, etc) 5) The software must be able to provide notifications to Managers and Supervisors about employee reviews that are due to be completed via email or similar communication method 6) The software must allow inputs of information and retention of information for individual employees (due dates for completion of reviews, information on results of reviews, information for future actions, etc). 7) The software must allow for designated information to be held as confidential and not available to other Employees, Supervisors, Managers, etc. 8) The software must allow both standard (pre-programmed) objects and customized objects (developed by an individual manager or supervisor). Managers and Supervisors should be able to customize a template for use with their employees to establish objects and standards. 9) The software must allow Managers and Supervisors the ability to transfer their employee information to other Managers and Supervisors. Employee records must be allowed to be transferred between Locations, Branches and Units.
