- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is VSR70027 and incorporates provisions and clauses through FAC 2005-15. This acquisition will be conducted under the procedures for acquiring commercial items authorized in FAR Part 12, under the authority to use simplified procedures for commercial requirements as provided in FAR 13. The North American Industry Classification System code is 333314 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is set aside for small businesses. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) intends to procure two (2) each of BRAND NAME OR EQUAL to Opelco Olympus MVX10 Macro Fluoresence Imaging Scopes that consists of the following components. Delivery: FOB Destination to NIEHS, Building 104, 111 TW Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709, within 15-90 days after receipt of award. Basis for Award: Offerors must provide descriptive literature or other material that demonstrates their offer meets the forgoing requirements. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer fully meets the requirements of the solicitation, provides the best value, with price and technical factors equally important in award evaluation.
