- This amendment is issued to publish the solicitation. A Pre-Proposal Conference and walk-through will be held on November 8, 2006 at 8:30 AM to Noon. If you plan to attend please follow the instruction within the solicitation (limited to Maximum 2 per company) No other walk-through will be made available. All questions shall be addressed in written format, including the solicitation reference and page number to Kyle A. Turner turnerky@mail.nih.gov by email only, NLT 3:00 P.M. EST on November 9, 2006. No phone calls will be accepted. An amendment will be published to address the government?s response to any questions. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) hereby issues the solicitation for a contractor to furnish all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, and supplies to provide janitorial services for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) to maintain all NIEHS facilities, located at 111 T. W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 in a manner which enhances the appearance and cleanliness of the site as a whole. This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to SBA certified 8(a) concerns only. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 561720 -- Janitorial Services. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract in accordance with the solicitation procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items/Services and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, with a 12-month period of performance. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-NOV-2006).
