Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The US Army RDECOM, Natick Contracting Division, has a requirement for commercially available aluminum products. Item# 1 Aluminum 6061-T6 Schedule 40 Nominal Dia 2.50; per ASTM B241 cut to size (+-).03 Certificates Required; Qty: 252 each; Item# 2 Aluminum 6061-T6 Schedule 80 Nominal Dia 2.00; per ASTM B241 cut to size 47.88 (+-) .02 Certificates Required,Qty: 504 each; Item# 3 Aluminum round 6061-T651 2-1/8 diameter cut to 1/8 thick. Certificates Required Qty 504 each; Item# 4 Aluminum round 6061-T651 1/4 thick cut to size 4.062 x 3.652 Certificates Required Qty: 725 each; Item# 5 Aluminum bar 6061-T651 1/4 thick x 4 x 96 Certificates Required Qty: 14 each; Item# 6 Aluminum 606 1-T6 Schedule 80 Nominal Dia 3.00; per ASTM B241 cut to size 3 dia x 2 (+-) .010 Certificates Required Qty 254 each. This announcement is a combined solicitation/synopsis and constitutes the only solicitation. The reference number for this acquisition i s W911QY-07-T-0010 . This acquisition is a one hundred percent (100%) Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 331312. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3334 and the Small Business Si ze Standard is 1000 employees. The Government anticipates awarding one (1) firm-fixed-price contract. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination and inspection and acceptance shall be at destination by the cognizant receiving authority. Offerors shall include the full text provision FAR 52.212-3 entitled Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (MAR 2005) with Alternate I (Apr 2002) , completely filled out, within the technical proposal, as well as DFARS 252.212-7000, entitled Offeror Repres entations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 1995).
