- CONTACT Paul Herink, Production Engineer, (732) 532-0216. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for spares for the Canopy, Moveable, Installation For Shelters, used on S-280G, S-280A/G, S-280B/G. This contractual effort is for a 5-yea r FLTC for a quantity of 20 324/year. Request that suppliers provide the Government with their Production Lead Time and a cost estimate for this item. The NSN is 4940-00-937-2553. Top assembly drawing SC-D-578364 is available from the Army. The complete technical data package will be provided upon request during the solicitation period. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The r esponse must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit from the previous suppliers listed above. The response should also include production lead times, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, part number & CAGE of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supp ly and delivery of the parts. The Government will consider parts from other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts. Alternate parts would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the parts mee t the Militarys requirements, the cost of which would be considered in the acquisition decision. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
