Description

THE SOLICITATION AND ITS RESULTANT CONTRACT ARE ISSUED UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM OF THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPMENT REFORM ACT OF 1988. Dredging, Rochester Harbor, Monroe County, NY Dredging, Oswego Harbor, Oswego County, NY Solicitation No. W912P4-07-B-0002 DATED 1/19/07 Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of approximately 140,000 cubic yards of dredged material, other than rock ledge, from the Rochester and Oswego harbors in Rochester and Oswego, NY in strict accordance with the Plans & Specifications. Dredged material shall be disposed of in the Government-furnished Confined Disposal Facility, as indicated in the contract drawing, or a Contractor-furnished/Government-approved Disposal Facility. The NAICS code is 237990. Estimated magnitude in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Estimated liquidated damages are between $500 and $1000 per day. The solicitation will be announced on FedBizOpps and will be available for downloading on www.FedTeds.gov Once the solicitation is posted on FedTeds, a hyperlink will be provided in the solic itation announcement through FedBizOpps.
