- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation number is M62613-07-T-0012, which will be available on our website http://www.iwakuni.usmc.mil/NewWebsite/AirStation/airstation.html (go to Contracting Office, and choose Solicitations). Item 0001 Qty: 1 Set Dehumidified Mobile Storage System Tunnel Structure -Fabricate Tunnel Structure approximately 48'L x 20'W x 16'-1/4" OAH, note Interior Height 12' to under rafters. -Tunnel to have galvanized steel tube structure with roof truss supports. -Structure to be covered with 4034 polyurethane. -Weather Protection. The shelter, when properly erected and anchored with all doors closed and storm kits in place (when required) is designed to conform to the International Conference of Building Officials' 1997 Uniform Building Code, with the recommended Aluminum Safety Factor of 1.95; fully exposed site to 70 m.p.h. (with storm kit to 90 m.p.h.), partially exposed site to 90 m.p.h. winds (with storm kit to 110 m.p.h. winds), and temperature exposure ranging from -20?F to 160?F. -Rigid Shelter. Tension membrane shelters are freestanding structures that are constructed of a metal framework and covered with a urethane or vinyl coated polyester material. Pre-engineered structures are freestanding buildings consisting of a metal framework with metal sides and roof panels. These shelters can be erected in a few hours by a crew of four. The shelters have electrically powered vents at the top that provide four to five air changes per hour. However, by attaching a recirculation dynamic dehumidifier to the shelter, the inside atmosphere can be stabilized to 35?5% relative humidity (RH). The low and relatively constant RH provides the ultimate protection for aviation equipment with minimal maintenance. -Tunnel structure to have lined floor of same material -Tunnel to have 10 staked ties down points; 2 on each corner. -Tie down points is tension adjustable. -System includes base-board flooring, which is able to support weights in excess 60 tons. -Structure to have zipper door access at each end. -Two (2) K100P 115V/60Hz/lph "Ebac" dehumidifiers, unit 10ft power cords; this is the limit manufacture allows to power source. Note: each unit to be positioned half the 48" distance, but one on each side. -Each K100P includes humidistat, a remote humidistat is available. -The requirement of manuals: One (1) instruction manual, one part lists and one (1) repair parts lists (Manufacture standard) 2. SHIPPING: F.O.B Destination, The destination is Defense Distribution Center San Joaquin, 25600 Chrisman Road, Tracy, CA 95376. 3.
