Description: Amendment #1 to this solicitation is hereby issued and provides for the following: 1. Standard Form 1449 block 5 is amended to correct type of solicitation to "RFP" instead of "RFQ". 2. Page 6, second paragraph is amended to add, ".(biohazard, to include assorted plastic test tubes filled with blood, culture swab specimens, plastic cups with urine specimens, and some with formalin and urine in them)." 3. Page 6, second paragraph, listing of locations is amended to correct 3) Downeast Community Hospital to: ".Tuesday AND Thursday"; 4. Page 6, third paragraph, last sentence is amended to read, "Penobscot Valley Hospital, which will be DAILY". 5. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
