- *** PLEASE NOTE CORRECTION IN PLACE OF PERFORMANCE FOR THIS PROJECT*** This contract contains construction of four (4) inland flashboard risers; five (5) beaver levelers , and an erosion control blanket to restore and enhance a wetland area in Richland County South Carolina. Major items of work includes an approximate: 5120 square feet of 6 inch geocell panels; 5 beaver pond levelers; 456 square feet of concrete block mats; 5000 square yards of erosion control blanket; 340 tons of crusher run; 3 acres of seeding for native grasses, and 1.3 acres of seeding for turf grass; and furnishing and installing 4 inline flashboard risers (2-36 inch and 2-48 inch), 75 feet of 24 inch corrugated aluminum pipe, 60 feet of 36 inch corrugated aluminum pipe. The project also includes renovating an existing dike using approximately 820 cubic yards of earth fill. Performance time, including mobilization and anticipated weather delays, is 45 calendar days. The estimated price is within the range of $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will be subject to full and open competition. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. The solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about January 2, 2007. Interested parties are invited to attend a pre-bid meeting and site showing on January 11, 2007, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the club house on-site. After a brief meeting concerning the bidding process and contract requirements, the group will leave for a tour of the work site. Directions to the site are as follows: Take exit 82 off I-20 and travel South on Spear Creek Church Road (SC-53). At the stop sign, turn left onto Percival Road (SC-12). After 1/4 mile, bear right onto Screaming Eagle Road (SC-268). Go to the end off the road. Go straight across HWY 601 onto Screaming Eagle Road Extension (gravel road). Travel about 1/4 mile and take a left onto Elise Grant Road and an immediate right onto Stackleather Road. This will take you directly to the clubhouse at Cleveland Swamp.
