- Provide all necessary labor, material, transportation, equipment and supervision required to provide construction with ancillary design services to design and erect a pre-engineered metal building complete and ready for use and containing the following. The following is a brief scope of work. Base Work 1: Provide all materials, labor, equipment necessary to fabricate and erect a new pre-engineered metal building including insulated metal siding and roof panels, two motorized overhead insulated sectional service doors, sliding windows and personnel doors. Provide and construct a foundation for the new pre-engineered metal building. Provide an interior concrete floor slab for the new building. Provide and install exterior concrete slabs. Provide new storm water piping and a new precast concrete catch basin. Provide plumbing and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning in the new metal building. Provide electrical service, lighting, and fir alarm for the new metal building. Provide conduits for wiring and cables for telephone, public address and computer equipment. Unit Work Item 1: Provide for two offices in the existing GSE building. Provide HVAC systems, electrical service, lighting, and fire alarm to accommodate two offices. Provide conduits for wiring and cables for telephone, public address and computer equipment. Unit Work Item 2: Provide for a welding shop in the existing GSE building. Provide mechanical systems, electrical service, lighting, and fire alarm to accommodate a welding shop. Provide conduits for wiring and cables for telephone, public address and computer equipment. Unit Work Item 3: Provide for a unisex bathroom in the existing GSE building. Provide mechanical systems, electrical service, lighting, and fire alarm to accommodate a unisex bathroom. Provide conduits for wiring and cables for public address. Unit Work Item 4: Provide for the design and construction of a deep foundation as an alternate to the shallow foundation. This unit work item replaces the shallow foundation in the base work. Unit Work Item 5: Provide new replacement gas service to the existing GSE building. Base Work 2: Provide cable for telephone/computer data service. Unit Work Item 1: Provide cable for telephone/computer data service for each new office space. Unit Work Item 2: Provide cable for telephone/computer data service for the new welding shop space. The period of performance is 120 days. This procurement is estimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238990 with a size standard of $13.0M.
