- Description
- Furnish all plant, labor, and materials needed to upgrade 72 buildings at Fort Rucker, AL, to a LAN-based front-end (EBI or equal) energy monitoring and control system. Upgrade is to include a server, four work stations, front end software (with suf ficient points), and equipment and programming required to monitor/manipulate controls from the front end. LAN-based access to building controls is also required. All software, hardware, servers, and PCs must be approved by Director of Information Manage ment (DOIM, Fort Rucker, AL) prior to contract award. Communication device is to be located in the communications room of each facility. Upgrade is to be performed over the course of the 5-year contract and should be coordinated with Contracting Officer' s Representative (COR). Contractor should ensure that building control and monitoring ability is maintained to the maximum extent during the upgrade. The server and work stations should be installed, and the first phase of upgrade should begin upon contr act award. Preventative maintenance shall include all services required to maintain the systems and associated equipment at maximum performance and reliability levels, as specified in the Performance Work Statement. Contract will also include routine mai ntenance and repair, emergency maintenance and repair, diagnosing and troubleshooting system failures, spare part and component replacement, factory revisions, and on-site training for Government and Contractor personnel. Invitation for Bids (IFB) is expe cted to be released on/about February 12, 2007.
