Description
FOREIGN AND NON-STANDARD MUNITIONS AND WEAPONS PROCUREMENT AND DEVELOPMENT - Market Survey The U.S. Army TACOM-Picatinny, Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce in support of the U.S. Army Research Development Engineering Command ??? Armament Research Development and Engineering Center (RDECOM-ARDEC) is conducting a Market Survey to identify potential sources and vendors capable of providing multiple variants of foreign caliber ammunition. These foreign munitions must be configured to either Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers??? Institute (SAAMI) or Commission Internationale Permanete (CIP) specifications (if applicable) for use in testing and training. Vendors must have the capability to ship the munitions, once procured, to multiple locations around the United States and possibly to limited OCONUS locations to support the U.S. Government???s mission. The overarching intent of this program and procurement action is to find and use a source or vendor that can reach around the world at any given moment and gather and provide multiple types of foreign munitions for training purposes. The list below represents the required munitions capability that is of interest to the US Government. This does not conclude the list, as new munitions may be required in the future, but it is by no means an all encompassing list and it should be noted that as new munitions enter the global scene it could be required to procure them.
