Description
WEST FARGO EMERGENCY GENERATOR BUILDINGS, West Fargo (Cass County), North Dakota. The West Fargo Emergency Generator Buildings project is located in West Fargo, North Dakota. The project is located on land owned by the City of West Fargo. Project features are to become part of the permanent flood control system for West Fargo. The proje ct consists of construction of two buildings to house emergency generators for the Drain 21 and Riverside Diversion pump stations. The Drain 21 site requires construction of a concrete block building with brick facing and a steel standing seam roof with st eel trusses. The foundation for the building will be a reinforced concrete slab and apron with reinforced concrete footings. The building will have two overhead coiling doors installed at each end of the building and an access door installed on one side. Work will also include demolition of an existing concrete slab, all electrical work required for the building and emergency generator, delivery, installation and startup of the emergency generator, transplantation of three trees, and topsoiling and seeding . The Riverside Diversion site requires construction of a building similar to Drain 21 except that brick facing will not be required. In addition to the building, work will also include placement of fill prior to construction of the building foundation, co nstruction of an aggregate driveway, relocation of existing fencing and installation of new fencing, all electrical work required for the building and emergency generator, delivery, installation and startup of the emergency generator, and topsoiling and se eding. This procurement is set aside and restricted to Service Disabled Veteran Small Business. Only those firms who conform to FAR 19.1403 and 13 CFR parts 125.8 through 125.13 are eligible for award. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) i s 236220 with a small business size standard of $31 million. The estimated order of magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000.
