**** Classification Code is changed to 5180 from 1680 **** **** Secondary Point of Contact is added Maria Betchen **** ****Response Date is extended to January 18, 2007 **** The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with Joint Program Office, 47123 Buse Rd., Patuxent River, MD 20670-1547 to provide for the development of the Nose Landing Gear Power Steering Unit Tools to include Fixture, Torque Lock nut (2 each); Tool RVDT Gear Replacement (2 each); Tools, Nose Wheel Power Steering (2 each); Fixture Power Unit Holding (2 each) Fixture, Flushing Upper Motor Plate (2 each); Fixture, Manifold Test (2 each) and Fixture, Valve Test (2 each) for the V22 program for delivery to NAVAIR Lakehurst Aircraft Support Equipment Staging Area, Rte 547 Bldg. 195 (Hangar 6) Lakehurst, NJ 08733-4851. The Navy intends to procure this effort under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Firms that believe they can satisfy this requirement are encouraged to identify themselves. A determination by the Navy not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Navy. A solicitation is not available for this procurement. This effort will commence within approximately 30 days after the date of subsequent contract.
