- 1. The following vendor question has been received. Answer follows question. a. The drawings call out an ?Anti-Stat? coating. This process is not in use any longer as the foams are made with anti-static properties built into the chemical structure and make-up of the foam. Vendor requesting clarification or approval of anti-static foam as opposed to dealing with chemicals, their use and the disposal of? A. It is acceptable for a vendor to use a foam material that has anti-static properties in lieu of using a anti-static solution as long as it will meet a maximum voltage buildup of 2.0 Kilovolts as stated on the drawing AND it meets all of the other requirements as set forth on the drawing i.e. limits on the residual explosive blowing agents, 6 PCF density etc. 2. The closing date is extended from 02 Jan 2007 to 16 Jan 2007. The closing time has changed to reflect 10:00 AM PST. 3. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
