Description

U.S. GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION IS SEEKING A FOOD SERVICE OPERATION IN THE HALE BOGGS FEDERAL BUILDING IN NEW ORLEANS, LA Reference No. BOGGS FOOD SERVICE 2007 DESCRIPTION: General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking a contractor to establish and operate a food service facility to provide Breakfast and Lunch, Monday thru Friday, for the benefit of approximately 1,500 building occupants, as well as patrons from surrounding buildings. GSA shall provide approximately 4,500 square feet of food service area, 3,200 sf of public seating area (approximately 256 seats), and 3,000 sf of circulation space rent free. GSA shall provide utilities from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Contractor shall be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the existing food service equipment, which is provided in as-is condition. Contractor shall also have the option of bringing prepared food into the building daily. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall be responsible for providing individual table service for sequestered jurors on a periodic basis, and for approximately 5 to 13 judges daily. LOCATION: Hale Boggs Federal Building Basement, 500 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. CONTRACT TERM: 5 years, with possible option periods. Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing by letter, fax, or e-mail, no later than January 30, 2007, and should include the following information: Contractor name, address, and phone number of the Individual to be contacted. Site visits will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 16, 2007, and at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, January 24, 2007. For these site visits please report to the GSA Office in Room 1044, 500 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA. Approved offerors will be sent a solicitation package on or near January 31, 2007. Offers would be due approximately March 1, 2007.
