Description
The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following: Battery Equalizer, Vanner Model 65-60 or Equal; the salient characteristics for this item are as follows: overall length 9.07 inches, overall width 8.50 inches, overall height 2.50 inches. The Equalizer must have an input voltage of 18 to 32 VDC, output voltage of 60 amps. The Equalizer must meet the following Environmental Considerations: an anodized aluminum enclosure to provide protection against salt, dust, water, fungus, fuel vapors and all other elements associated with a marine environment. The unit is to be able to be mounted on a vertical flat surface. The required quantity is 100 each. FOB Destination Baltimore, MD 21226 NOTE: NO DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit a price quote for this item. Award will be made to the Quoter providing a technically acceptable item with the lowest price. The anticipated Award Date for this procurement is 30 January 2007. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items and is issued in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR and FAC 2005-14, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and pursuant to FAR Part 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotation shall include, proposed delivery in days, pricing for item(s) individually preserved, packed, marked and bar-coded (packing and barcoding specifications are available upon request.), the company Tax Information Number and DUNS Number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 335999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The following FAR clauses apply to this solicitation.
