- Presolicitation Notice - - The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue RFQ 41407-0013-07A for the provision of Unarmed Guard Services for the United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners (USMCFP) in Springfield, Missouri. It is estimated the contract will include a base year and four (4) option years. The contract period shall consist of effective date of award through 12 months from effective date of award and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year - 2,000 sessions; Option Year 1 - 2,000 sessions; Option Year 2 - 2,000 sessions; Option Year 3 - 2,000 sessions; Option Year 4 - 2,000 sessions. A session will be defined as (1) one hour in duration. The solicitation will be available on/about January 10, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov and The Federal Technical Data Solutions website at www.fedteds.gov. The North American Industry Classification System is 561612. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The websites provide downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed solely through the websites. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the websites to ensure they have the most current information about the acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible business sources are encouraged to submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is January 26, 2007. The anticipated date of award is February 9, 2007 with an effective award date of March 1, 2007.
