Description

The Government intends to solicit and award on a SOLE SOURCE BASIS, a Five (5) Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price type contract for spare parts for the Improved Tactical Headset (ITH), H-387/VRC Headset. The Governm ent intends to procure up to 6,000 of each item per year. The contract will be awarded to Bose Corporation, Framingham, MA. The ranges for these eight (8) items will be as follows for each year of the five (5) year contract: 5  200; 201  499; 500  1000; 1001  3000; and 3001  6000. Deliveries of Electrical Cover (NSN 5930-01-525-1675, PN A3206695-8), Headset Headband (NSN 5965-01-525-1695, PN A3206695-23), Microphone Harness (NSN 5965-01-525-2019, PN A3206695-6), and Headset Headband (NSN 5965-01-525-2635, PN A3206695-22) will be: q uantity 1000, 90 days after contract award; quantity 2000, 120 days after contract award; proceeding at a rate of 4000 monthly thereafter until contract completion. Deliveries of Electrical Headset (NSN 5965-01-525-1685, PN A3206695-18), and Special Purpose Cable Assembly (NSN 5995-01-525-1680, PN A3206695-19) will be: quantity 100, 180 days after contract award; quantity 200, 210 days after contract award; proceedin g at a rate of 300 monthly until contract completion. Deliveries of Outer Ear Cushion (NSN 5965-01-525-1694, PN A3206695-20) and Inner Ear Cushion (NSN 5965-01-525-2016, PN A3206695-21) will be: quantity 500, 90 days after contract award; proceeding at a rate of 1000 monthly thereafter until contract completi on. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Source. Packaging requirements are as follows: Level of Preservation is Commercial. The government does not possess the technical data to provide to prospective offerors, however all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. The US Army C-E LCMC has established the Interactive Business Opportunity Page (IBOP) website to all for the electronic transmittal of solicitation from C-E LCMC to industry. This solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 26 January 2007 and will be posted to the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. See Numbered N otes 22 and 26.
