Description
You are invited to submit a budgetary quotation to furnish training as outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement. This request is for informational planning purposes only and is important for establishment of a realistic cost estimate. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation, or otherwise pay for the information solicited except as provided in subsection 31.205-18, bid and proposal (b&p) costs, of the federal acquisition regulation. Identify any factors that would affect the prices quoted, and specify equipment and technical data that would be needed to support training (inclusive of stock number, part number, noun description, T.O. numbers, description of manuals and software). Also, specify whether said items would be Contractor or Government furnished. For performance in overseas areas, please identify logistical and administrative support required for your instructors. Your quotation should have a validity period of at least 180 days. This is the minimum time required for processing by HQ USAF and review by the customer country. PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT 1. Scope a. Training is required by the USAF in support of a Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) foreign military sales F-15 aircraft program. Proposed training will be Type 1 contractor training, procured by Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and presented under the auspices of Air Force Security Assistance Training Program. All instruction is to be in the English language. b. Training shall be for four ROKAF Engineer/Technicians at the contractor?s CONUS training location during mid to late 2007. 2. Technical Training a. The contractor shall propose course content and duration of training for Boron repair as applicable to the F-15 aircraft. The training objective is to provide the ROKAF trainees with a capability to make authorized repairs to boron materials on the F-15 aircraft. b. The contractor shall provide course outlines detailing major topics/assemblies and the hours required to train the ROKAF technicians. This is required for disclosure purposes. Training shall include combinations of formal classroom instruction and "hands-on" practical exercises so as to provide skill proficiency to perform tasks "unsupervised". c. the contractor shall identify any prerequisite training the students shall possess prior to arrival for this training. 3. Training Materials Training materials can be in contractor format. All training materials used by the student during course presentation will be retained by the student. 4. Local Transportation and Quarters Local transportation and quarters will be the responsibility of the students.
