Description
Solicitation Number, SPM4A6-07-Q-1783, 0013831643, NSN: 9150-01-542-9665, Lubricating Oil, Engine. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12. This is solicited as Unrestricted and will result in a Firm Fixed Priced Contract under the provisions of FAR 13.5. The purchase request quantity is 500 each. The purchase request includes a 100% quantity option. QPL applies. The Unit of Issue is Each. An Each is a 208 Liter (55 Gallon) drum. This is not a Critical Application Item (CAI). This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP interrogation 08 January 2007. ?The Engine Lubricating Oil Shall Contain 25% minimum Re-Refined Oil Content. Certification to this effect shall be made available to the Contracting Officer or the Contracting Officer?s Representative. Products Qualified and Listed on the Qualified Products List for SAE J2359 are also qualified for MIL-PRF-2104. This material is in accordance with Drawing Number 13873, MIL-PRF-2104G, Basic Amend NR G, DTD 02/10/97. The material is in accordance with SPEC NR MIL-PRF-2104H, REFNO AMEND NR H, TYPE NUMBER M2104-4-15W40. MSDS and OSHA hazardous Warning Label are required. QAP 204 applies. The solicitation does not contain progress payments. This is being solicited with FOB at Destination. The Inspection and Acceptance is at Destination. The required delivery is 84 days ARO. Automated Best Value System applies. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
