Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Group 1 Software, Inc., a Pitney Bowes Company, of Bethesda, MD for the maintenance and upgrade of a current SSA owned license for the period of 01/26/2007 through 01/25/2008. The maintenance and upgrade shall include fixes and ongoing technical support and is current known to be available only through Group 1 Software, Inc. The software is used for document and data control and allows print-ready files to be changed. Other organizations that believe they are capable of meeting the SSA requirements are invited to submit information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. If the SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, the agency shall issue a sole source award of the maintenance/updgrade under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Goverment does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by January 16, 2007, 12:00 PM EST. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
