- The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN. This proposed procurement includes items within the Federal Supply Class 4710. See Note(s): 26. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 29 Jan 07 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for one item with an AMC/AMSC code of 1R. This signifies that the Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources. It has been determined that it is uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the date. It is economical to reverse engineer the part. This code is used when the Government did not initially purchase the data and/or rights. This AMSC code implies that parts procured under this NSN are candidates for other than full and open competition. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains a 100% option which may be exercised at time of award or after award during the period of the contract delivery schedule minis fourteen days. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis with other than full and open competition. The approved sources are 54878 p/n 70306-10017-041 and 78286 p/n 70306-10017-041.
