- The United States Department of Energy, Oak Ridge Office has a requirement for the acquisition of logistics support services for activities under the cognizance of the Oak Ridge Office. Services include Transportation Emergency Preparedness Program training, transportation assessments, material disposition and tracking, and special projects and analyses. The contractor will oversee shipping activities of other contractors and must be certified to ship radioactive and hazardous waste. A five year contract consisting of a two-year base period and three one-year option periods is anticipated in the upcoming request for proposal. The acquisition is set-aside for small businesses. The applicable North America Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 541614 and the size limit standard is $6.5 million.
